The AKG SolidTube was the first moderately-priced high-performance cardioid tube microphone.
Characterized by velvety-smooth sound with gorgeous, liquid mids, the SolidTube will warm up the sterile sound of digital recording. Features include switchable 20 dB pad and a 12 dB-per-octave/100 Hz bass roll-off filter.
