Akai now have three new MPC Music Production Controllers to add to their range. These new controllers cover all the needs of the modern day producer/composer.
The Akai MPC Renaissance delivers the Iconic MPC Sound and brings together the legendary MPC production with the power of your computer. In addition the Renaissance incorporates a new Vintage Mode that changes the character of the machine back to MPC3000, MPC60 and more. The MPC Renaissance boasts 16 backlit pads, 16 Q-Link controls and adjustable backlit LCD screen.
The Akai MPC Studio Music Production Controller fuses iconic MPC production with the processing power of your computer. The big move from MPC's gone by is the compact design which is less than 1" thin ad fits easily into a laptop bag. MPC Software is bundled in that provides 64-track sequencing power with your PC or Mac.
Akai MPC Fly is an MPC that gives you the Music Production experience in a laptop form when integrated with an Ipad. Very compact and expected to be very cost effective. The MPC fly has a fitted compartment for iPad 2. The work surface has 16 backlit genuine MPC pads with MPC note repeat and MPC Swing. The Akai MPC application allows the user to sequence and sample edit, add effects, EQ and more. The ability to transfer work to Mac and PC means you can create on the move and master in the comfort of your home studio. In addition the Akai Fly is compatible with virtually any core MIDI app.
oh... it has a lithium battery and will charge from the ipad when plugged into the wall
