Focusrite has pulled out all the stops to unveil its new class-leading Firewire interface at AES. The Saffire Pro 40 will be on show for the first time alongside Liquid Mix HD, and a relaunch of the Forté Suite of plug ins that brought the legendary Focusrite Forté console sound to Protools HD.
Focusrite's most senior figures including CEO Phil Dudderidge are in San Francisco to oversee the launch of the long awaited Saffire PRO 40, which represents the new generation of Focusrite multi-channel firewire audio interfaces. Eight award-winning Focusrite pre-amps form the basis of the Pro 40, bringing the un-rivalled legacy of Focusrite pre's to a new standard of precision and control.
