Released in September 2011, UAD Software v6.0 represents a significant milestone for the UAD Powered Plug-Ins platform. UAD v6.0 includes the stunning new Ampex ATR-102 Mastering Tape Recorder as well as the new Brainworx bx_digital V2 EQ and SPL Vitalizer MK2-T plug-ins. Also included is a complete overhaul of the UAD plug-in workflow in Pro Tools (UAD-1 and UAD-2), plus OS X 10.7 Lion compatibility for Mac users.
Changes in UAD Version 6.0

- UAD SPL® Vitalizer MK2-T
- Enhanced UAD-1 & UAD-2 Pro Tools Compatibility:
- Removal of the VST-to-RTAS adapter, control surface enhancements, category support, and much more
Important: Pro Tools automation data for discrete (non-continuous) UAD plug-in parameters will be lost by performing this update. Please view the RTAS support page for specific details.
Mac:
- Support for Mac OS X 10.7 Lion
About UAD Software Downloads
- The UAD software REQUIRES a UAD DSP Accelerator in order to audition and use UAD Powered Plug-Ins.
- Install the UAD software before the hardware, unless you are updating. See the UAD Manual for details.
- A new UAD authorization file must be loaded for each new release. Click here for quick instructions.
