The sE Electronics Gemini MKIII (Limited Edition) large-diaphragm dual valve microphone is a no holds barred piece of microphone history. The dual valve design means pure valve warmth from the 12AX7 input valve coupled with a 12AU7 valve on the output stage in place of the traditional transformer. The result is an incredibly large detailed and intimate sound reminiscent of the classic valve microphones from decades ago, but with all of the top end you would normally associate with the best solid state mics on the market.

Still using the same electronics and dual tube design unique to the Gemini II, the Gemini MKIII has a dual capsule giving it Omni, Figure of 8 and Cardiod patterns, switchable from its hand crafted PSU. The microphones' barrel is finished in black rubberised paint, with sE's 10th anniversary metal badge, a hand engraved serial number plate, and certificate of authenticity signed by the four owners of sE.

Only 333 Gemini MKIII's will be made to celebrate the 10th anniversary of sE Electronics.

Superb microphone. The air that you get when recording vocals, especially a female voice, is outstanding. It is my main go-to mic now, and I have a fair few to choose from.
