The sE Gemini 5 cardioid condenser is the only dual output microphone on the market, and is two of the best sounding microphones in one. The Gemini 5 only has one tube which can be switched to solid state only mode. The switch is located on the power supply unit and allows the user to shift between using it as a tube condenser or an FET mic. You can also record with both the valve and FET output simultaneously, producing the perfect combination of FET and tube overtones.
The Gemini 5 uses the same capsule as the well-known Gemini II and the chassis is also of the same design, a smart grey rubber finish, however the Gemini 5 is of a smaller scale. The Gemini 5 comes with a shock mount and flight case and is a unique microphone perfect for recording vocals in the studio of a close to medium range.
