Back in 2004, musician and audio enthusiast Trevor Coley pursued his dream to create a range of microphones that delivered professional quality results at a truly affordable price. He began sketching out designs for innovative-looking mics with classic vintage styling that would stand out from the crowd. The Sontronics microphone range are all British designed and hand built to strict quality control guidelines in their three factories in Shanghai. Pre-amps are manufactured in Sontronics Portuguese factory.
Sontronics condenser microphones are developed under strict laboratory conditions where their finely tuned performance characteristics are carefully measured and controlled. Every microphone is individually checked and tested in the UK warehouse before being shipped out, so you can be sure that every single Sontronics product has undergone rigorous scrutiny before it reaches the end user.
