Theiris a huge range of Studio Monitors on the market today ranging from Yamaha HS50's around the £250 price, through to Genelec 1039's at the £15k mark. Quite simply which in your opinion offer the best value for money taking cost, sound and usability into consideration?
I agree with JMM, Genelec 8040a. My favourite speakers to write on. They might not be the flatest but they are not fatiguing on the ears like some speakers I have used. The low end is pretty focused so I find them particularly good for electronic music like I make. I have heard the Focal Twins and think they are very good too, a bit more neutral - I would love set of those to mix on.
